This is my experience with a person who needs access to a food pantry:

Today is his 17th birthday. I asked him if anyone made him a cake or if he prefers ice cream or candy. His humbling response was, "I'd prefer meat that will last a few days. I'm the kind of person who would love a ham for my birthday."

My heart and my eyes runneth over. I can't afford a ham either, but my children do not go hungry. Lord, please bless this boy. Help me bless this boy, having only little to give. My heart is big. My prayers are big. YOU ARE BIG. Thank you in advance for giving.
